Take paracetamol or ibuprofen as directed on the pack
Do not put aspirin on the gum

Keep your head raised when lying down
Avoid hot compresses
Broken or chipped tooth
Save any pieces in milk
Rinse your mouth gently
Avoid chewing on that side
Knocked-out tooth
Hold it by the top, not the root
Rinse gently, put it in milk
Come within 30 minutes for the best chance of saving it
